The ingredients needed to make Yema Cake:
  1. Get Chiffon (dry)
  2. Prepare 1 1/4 cup cake flour or all purpose flour
  3. Get 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  4. Take 1/2 tsp salt
  5. Take 1/2 cup sugar
  6. Take Chiffon (wet)
  7. Take 4 egg yolk
  8. Prepare 1/4 cup oil
  9. Make ready 1/4 cup water
  10. Get 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  11. Make ready Meringue
  12. Get 4 egg whites
  13. Make ready 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  14. Prepare 1/4 cup sugar
  15. Make ready Yema frosting
  16. Get 1 can condensed milk
  17. Prepare 1 can evaporated milk
  18. Prepare 3 egg yolks
  19. Take 1 tbsp vanilla
  20. Make ready 1 tbsp cornstarch
  21. Make ready Toppings

Instructions to make Yema Cake:
  1. Mix dry ingredients, set aside.
  2. Mix the wet ingredients and add to the dry ingredients and mix well and set aside.
  3. Beat the egg whites untill frothy then add the cream of tartar and gradually add the sugar. Beat until soft peak and add to the chiffon batter.
  4. Pour the batter into 5 llanera. Divide it equally. Bake for 20 mins on 200-250 F or 95-121 C. If steam low heat for 20 minutes
  5. Yema frosting. In a pan mix all the ingredients. Turn on fire to low heat stir until the mixture is thick. Turn off the heat and let cool.
  6. Assemble the cake and the frosting. Top it with cheese.
